Worker accommodation and apartments in Wittenberge

Wittenberge has around 17,000 inhabitants and lies on the Elbe in north-western Brandenburg. The town was a centre of sewing machine manufacturing and is today a rail works and metal location. We arrange contractor accommodation in Wittenberge for welders, machine fitters, electricians and maintenance crews.

Location and access

Via the A14 Magdeburg is 70 minutes away, Hamburg 100, Perleberg ten and Pritzwalk 30. Rooms with parking are available in the centre, in Garsedow and in Bentwisch.

Economy and construction sites

The Wittenberge rail works overhauls rail vehicles and needs extra welders during major repairs. Metal and technology firms work on the Wittenberge industrial estate, and the Prignitz district hospital serves the region. The Arneburg pulp mill is 40 kilometres south-west.

Our tip for Wittenberge

Rooms cost 20 to 36 euros per night. Wittenberge has the largest room supply in the Prignitz and is therefore the most reliable base on the Elbe between Magdeburg and Hamburg.
