Griesheim (around 28,000 inhabitants) is a commercial town west of Darmstadt with a tram link, Weiterstadt (around 27,000 inhabitants) a logistics location at the Darmstadt interchange with the Loop5 shopping centre, Pfungstadt (around 25,000 inhabitants) a brewery and industrial town on the A67, Groß-Umstadt (around 22,000 inhabitants) a wine town with an industrial estate on the B45. Babenhausen is a Continental site on the Bavarian border, Dieburg a university town with an industrial estate, Ober-Ramstadt the seat of DAW with its Caparol brand, Reinheim a commercial town in the Gersprenz valley, plus Seeheim-Jugenheim, Mühltal, Roßdorf, Groß-Zimmern and Münster as residential and commercial municipalities.
