Worker accommodation and apartments in Stade
Stade has around 48,000 residents and lies on the Elbe west of Hamburg. In the Bützfleth industrial area, Dow Chemical runs a large chemical plant and Airbus a production site for carbon fibre components, plus the emerging liquefied natural gas energy terminal, the port and the decommissioning of the former nuclear power plant. We arrange worker accommodation in Stade for pipeline builders, welders, electricians, scaffolders and plant builders.

Add port projects, dyke construction and the continued building of the A26 towards Hamburg.
Our tip for Stade
During Dow turnarounds and terminal expansion phases, Stade is completely booked out. We recommend eight to ten weeks of lead time and otherwise arrange rooms in Drochtersen, Harsefeld, Buxtehude and Jork, 15 to 25 minutes from Bützfleth.
Frequently asked questions about worker accommodation in Stade
Are there rooms in Stade for crews on turnarounds at the Dow plant?
Yes, that is our most common case here. We arrange rooms in Bützfleth, Campe, Drochtersen and Harsefeld, 10 to 20 minutes from the plant gate, as shared rooms with kitchen, washing machine, drying room and parking for company vehicles.
Is Stade a cheap base for jobs in Hamburg?
Yes, via the A26 and the S-Bahn, Hamburg-Harburg and the port are 40 to 55 minutes away and prices are below Hamburg levels. During Dow turnarounds it gets tight here too, and we then move to Buxtehude and Jork.
Is there an agency fee?
