You reach the A620 in five minutes, Saarlouis is five kilometres east, Dillingen eight kilometres north east, the French border five kilometres west and Merzig 20 kilometres north west.

Metal and trade businesses work on the Wallerfangen commercial estate. The main source of work lies five kilometres east: the Saarlouis car plant with its press shop, body shop and paint shop; the Dillingen ironworks is eight kilometres away.
