Location and access
The A7 motorway starts at the edge of town and reaches Hamburg in a good two hours, Schleswig is 35 kilometres south and Kiel 90 kilometres south east. The Danish border is ten minutes away and Kolding a good hour. Rooms with parking are available in Muerwik, Weiche, Engelsby and Tarup as well as in Harrislee, Handewitt and Tarp.

Flensburg is one of the cheapest larger cities in northern Germany. Anyone working in Denmark often stays considerably cheaper here than across the border and still drives only 15 to 30 minutes to site. For shipyard projects we recommend rooms in the east of the city.
