Worker accommodation and apartments in Lübeck

Luebeck has around 218,000 residents and is the largest city in Schleswig-Holstein after Kiel. The old town with the Holsten Gate is a UNESCO World Heritage site, while economically the port with Travemuende, the food and confectionery industry and medical technology set the tone. We arrange contractor accommodation in Luebeck for construction tradespeople, electricians, plant fitters, building services engineers and port technicians.

Location and access

Via the A1 motorway Hamburg is 50 minutes away, and the A20 reaches Rostock in an hour and a half. Bad Schwartau is six kilometres north, Ratzeburg 25 kilometres south and Timmendorfer Strand 18 kilometres north east. Rooms with parking are available in Kuecknitz, Travemuende, Sankt Lorenz, Buntekuh and Schlutup as well as in Bad Schwartau, Ratzeburg and Moelln.

Economy and construction sites

Luebeck harbour with the Scandinavia quay at Travemuende is the largest ferry port on the German Baltic and has terminals, ramps and cranes maintained continuously. The city's confectionery and food companies award assembly contracts when they renew equipment. Added to that are medical technology firms and the university hospital with permanent construction projects.

Our tip for Lübeck

Luebeck is considerably cheaper than Hamburg and connected to eastern Hamburg in 50 minutes via the A1. In summer Travemuende and the Baltic resorts push prices up, and Ratzeburg and Moelln are then the better alternatives with a 25 to 30 minute journey.
