Worker accommodation and apartments in Pinneberg
Pinneberg is the district seat and lies immediately on the western edge of Hamburg. The Pinneberg district is the most densely populated in Schleswig-Holstein, and the town itself is traditionally a centre of tree nurseries. For contractors what counts is the closeness to Hamburg.
Location and access
The A23 motorway runs along the eastern edge of town and western Hamburg is 15 minutes away. Elmshorn is twelve kilometres north and Wedel ten kilometres south. The S3 suburban line runs from Pinneberg every ten minutes to Hamburg main station.
Economy and construction sites
Trade, engineering and logistics businesses work on the Pinneberg commercial estate. The tree nursery sector shapes the land around town. Most of our guests' assignments, however, lead to Hamburg, to the port or to sites in the west of the city.
Our tip for Pinneberg
Prices are 26 to 50 euros per person per night, at the Hamburg level. You stay cheaper in Elmshorn or Barmstedt, twelve to 25 kilometres north, which cost ten to fifteen euros a night less.
