Location and access
You reach the A23 via Pinneberg in 15 minutes, western Hamburg is 15 kilometres east and the port of Hamburg 20 kilometres. Schenefeld is eight kilometres north east and Uetersen twelve kilometres north. The S1 suburban line terminates in Wedel.
Economy and construction sites
The power plant on the Elbe and the adjoining industrial area regularly award maintenance and conversion contracts. Machine builders and engineering firms work on the Wedel commercial estate. Many of our guests also work in the port of Hamburg or on sites in the west of the city.
